# Licence 

Energy Monitor licence is provided by the software vendor. 

Licence file consists of 2 files:

-   the enrcypted .licence file

-   the plaintext .info file with specific details 

Licence covers the following:

    -   Amount of hosts the buyer can add into the system.
    
In case of the clustered installations, the same licence file is installed on each node in the same location as the master node. 

## Installing the licence file

Licence files need to be placed under:

```
/etc/energy-monitor-license
```
Simply copying them is sufficient.
